For the Full Moon Party, the key thing is expectations. Haad Rin is close enough for a taxi ride at around 16 minutes for 8.3 km, so going out for the night is doable. Still, this is not a walkable party stay, and on foot it’s roughly 2 hours 6 minutes, which is impractical for most people. BambooLove works better for travelers who want to attend Koh Phangan’s biggest party and then return to a quieter part of the island afterward. If you want restaurants, shops, and nightlife within easy walking distance, this area may feel too removed.
